Bishop Lamont is a prodigy of Dr. Dre. A really smooth track with no autotune bulls**t or dance to go along with it.
The Fray-Say When
A song off of their new self titled album due out February 3. There's other acoustic versions of other new songs floating around too, but this one just stands out to me.
Ronald Jenkees-Stay Crunchy
This guy is amazing. Can't even say anything else, just watch his videos, they speak for themselves.
Staind-Believe
Sad song, but really good.
Murs-Bad Man
An artist from the west coast. He's much better than The Game in my opinion. His lyrics actually have substance to them (I'm a huge fan of that)!Also check out L.A.
Kina Grannis-If I Were A Boy (Beyonce Cover)
Hot girl with a voice and a guitar. I mean....what else do you want?!

Song Of The Day was created to introduce music of all genres to my friends. Music is something that we can all relate to. Music sets the mood, keeps the dance floor moving, helps you fall asleep, passes the time on the long drive home, sparks conversation with the cute girl at the party who also likes this band, gets you through the happiest and darkest of times. Most of all, music is always evolving. The only problem with reality is theres no background music.
Song Selection
Everyday I'll add a few songs and some information about the artist. I'll try to provide download links when possible. Song selection is based on a lot of things; artist creativeness, catchy songs I come across, songs suggested by friends, songs of the moment, songs I feel you just need to hear, you get the point. That Murs joint is hot, his lyrics do have substance but he sounds very similar to Common in my opinion.. but i guess you can see similarities between many rappers out right now, i guess it's just a byproduct of the game.
